    Before assembly, review the approved wall and formwork plans, system instructions, placement sequence, and inspection requirements.

    Build the panels with the specified ties, connections, walers, anchors, and braces. Do not substitute or move hardware based on appearance or experience with another form.

  3. 03

    Check line and plumb, reinforcement, openings, embeds, access, closures, and every required connection. Request the planned inspection before concrete placement.

    Place and consolidate only within the approved sequence and monitoring plan. If the form moves, leaks unusually, or shows distress, report it and follow the site response plan.

    Strip only when the approved release condition is met and the authorized person directs the sequence. Keep any required shores and braces in place.

Work through the steps

  1. 01

    Review the formwork plan and system instructions

    Confirm the wall geometry, pour sequence, tie and connection layout, brace locations, access, and inspection requirements. Resolve missing or conflicting directions before assembly.

    Check the support and assemble the forms

    Verify that the supporting surface and anchors are ready for the planned loads. Assemble panels, ties, walers, connections, and braces exactly as designed and as the manufacturer directs.

  3. 03

    Plumb, align, and complete the pre-pour review

    Check dimensions and alignment against controls. Verify reinforcement, openings, embeds, cleanout access, closures, and every required connection and brace before requesting inspection.

  4. 04

    Place using the approved sequence

    Use the placement rate, lift sequence, consolidation method, and monitoring plan approved for this form system. Keep people clear of the exclusion zone and report movement, unusual leakage, or distress immediately.

  5. 05

    Strip only when authorized

    Follow the approved stripping sequence and release condition. Keep required shores or braces in place, control falling material, and do not remove formwork based on an assumed elapsed time.

  • Removing, relocating, or substituting a tie or brace without approval.

  • Stripping from a guessed schedule or removing support that is still required.
